Bhutan does not limit tourist arrivals. It is not hard to get a tourist VISA to enter Bhutan.

What you need to know

1. You must book your travel through Resa Tours & Travels in Bhutan, or other local tour operators or international partner.
2. There is a minimum daily package for tourists
3. Full payment of holiday is required before visa is endorsed by the Tourism Council.Payment is via Wire transfer
4. Bhutan & Druk Air are the  airline operating into Bhutan

Minimum Daily Package

1. A minimum of 3 star accommodation
2. All meals
3. A licensed Bhutanese Tour Guide for the extent of the stay
4. All internal transport
5. Camping equipment and haulage for trekking tours
6. All internal taxes and charges
7. A Royalty of $ 65 (which is included in the package price)

How much is the daily rate? * The minimum daily rate is (for a group of 3 person or more):

• USD $ 250 per personper night for the months of March, April, May, September, October and November
• USD $ 200 per person per night for the months of January, February, June, July,August and December
• The rates are applicable per Tourist per night halt in Bhutan
• Groups of two or less shall be subject to a surcharge, over and above the minimum daily rates applicable, as follows:

1. Individual, USD $ 40 per person per night 
2. 2 persons, USD $ 30 per person per night

Wire Transfer: The wire transfer has put in place to protect you.The wire must be transferred prior to the departure to the Tourism Council of Bhutan's account. On receipt of payment a tourist visa is issued. Payment is retained by Tourism Council until the tourist has departed Bhutan.

1. Money is transferred to the Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB)'s account.
2. On receipt of payment tourist visa is issued
3. Payment is retained by Tourism Council of Bhutan  until tourist has departed Bhutan.
