Day1. Arrival at Paro International Airport, drive to Thimphu (takes 1 and half hour)

  • You will be receiving by Bhutan Dynasty Travel
  • Drive to Thimphu, stop at 15th century temple for short walk through the Iron chain bridge.
  • Semtokha Dzong, one of the oldest in Bhutan built in 1629 by Zhabdung Rimpoche
  • Check into the hotel
  • After lunch
  • Bank for exchange
  • Post office to see stamps
  • walk around the town
  • Evening Tea

Day2. Sightseeing around capital City

  • Visit memorial chorten built in 1974 by Late Her Majesty Ashi kezang choden wangchuk
  • Weaving center, to see how ladies weave our traditional costume
  • Visit 13 traditional art and craft school, established in 1968 by late His Majesty
  • After lunch:
  • Visit Buddha point to enjoy whole Thimphu valley, as we believe biggest Buddha
  • Trashi chhoDzong/Fortress, the administrative building of the capital of Bhutan
  • Zangdopelri lhakhang
  • Finally shopping hours in town
  • Evening Tea
  • Dinner at the hotel

Day3 Drive to Paro: Morning hike to wangduetshe and Dechen Phodrang Monastery

  • Takin, the national rare animal in Bhutan
  • Hike to wangduetshe monastery and Dechen Phodrang monastery.(2hours hike)
  • Lunch
  • After lunch, drive to Paro
  • Leisure walk around Paro town
  • Dinner, lunch at the hotel

Day4 Beautiful Paro valley sightseeing.

  • After breakfast: drive to Paro
  • Rimpung Dzong built in 17th century, it is a house of administration and monastic body
  • Walk  down to oldest traditional bridge against the beautiful view of the Dzong and Paro valley
  • Kychu lhakhang built in 7th century by Tibetan Buddhist king Songtshen Goempo
  • Lunch in Paro Town
  • Check in to our hotel
  • Visit  oldest Temple in Bhutan built in 7th century in the middle of beautiful rice field
  • Drugyel Dzong/ruin Fortress (Burn by fire in 1950) built in 17th century to protect against Tibetan invaders.
  • Drive back to hotel
  • Evening Tea
  • Dinner at hotel

      Day5 Paro valley spiritual day excursion to Tiger Nest.

  • Hike to taktsang monastery takes 7-8 hours or whole day including photo stop and lunch at the cafeteria
  • 800 meter climb from valley floor
  • moderate - hard, drink lot of water
  • carry enough water
  • Riding ponies are available at their own cost
  • 1hour to first view point, where there is cafeteria
  • People who cannot walk, stay at the cafeteria enjoy the beautiful view of monastery with tea/coffee
  • Continue to monastery another 2 hours walk
  • Reach to second view point, be careful with steep steps
  • Beautiful photo points from second point
  • Visit monastery, no camera and mobile phone inside the temple
  •  After visit monastery walk back for lunch to cafeteria
  • After lunch walk down to car park
  • Drive to hotel
  • Evening Tea
  • Dinner at the hotel

Day 6 DrukAir departs early, after breakfast, your guide and driver will see you off at the airport. You need to check in two hours before departure.
