BHUTAN NATURE & SAFARI TOUR PACKAGES

Nature (Eco) tourism is an important aspect of the country’s policy to sustain the industry in the long run by ensuring that it is minimally destructive to the environment and supports the local economy where tourism related income is important.

Responsible eco tourism minimizes adverse effects on the environment and supports the local culture by creating economic opportunities for local communities and promoting sustainable practices such as recycling and energy efficiency.

Resa Tours can arrange an eco tourism tour to the Royal Manas National park in the tropical and sub-tropical ecosystems of Bhutan, which forms a corridor for the movement of wildlife from the Indian plains into interior Bhutan.

Within this park live rural communities where poverty levels are high and educational levels are low, both of which present opportunities for improvement through the diversification and training offered by community tourism.

These sites were seen as appropriate for application of measures such as community tourism to help mitigate the rural-to –urban migration that many communities in Bhutan are experiencing and increase the ability and interest of the community within the national park to be good conservation stewards, with community tourism is particularly able to foster.
